I really liked this war film and I am so glad I was not part of that experience. In this version soldiers complain and cry and die. The war scenes are realistic with out being too graphic. Your recently viewed items and featured recommendations I have no idea why they decided to do that because it lessened what could have been a decent dramatic movie and moved it into comical. Never really lived up to the reviews in my opinion and it looked very dated. There are no spoilers as history tells us the Germans lost and out of an army of 300,000 men only 6,000 were left alive when WWII ended. German soldiers go from victory to survival mode as their army suffers its first major defeat of World War II. Not to mention there was no option to change the audio or even add subtitles. Don't watch if you are of a sensitive disposition. Stalingrad is an excellent film.
